Middle Office Clerk role based in Edinburgh. An excellent opportunity for a Middle Office Clerk has arisen within State Street.

The Position entails coverage of multiple disciplines and markets and requires a quick thinking individual who is keen to learn and would thrive in a fast moving and challenging environment.

The Middle Office Clark will be responsible for:

- The timely and accurate settlement of all transactions, & across a range of instruments and markets, in support of State Street's broker/dealer business

- Monitor Trade flow from Securities Finance Desks

- Trade Execution support for Stock Borrow & Loan plus Repo transactions

- Client reporting

- Communication with external (Custodians, Brokers) and other internal parties

- Contribution to new products and process changes - involvement in projects on local and international level

- Asset Servicing administration (Corporate Actions and Income)

The skills and knowledge that the Middle Office Clark will ideally have the following:

- Extensive Operations experience in Middle Office, ideally within Securities Finance, with a Broker Dealer or Prop Trading House

- Securities Finance and clearing domain knowledge essential

- Prior experience of an exception based processing environment
