This opening provides an excellent opportunity for graduates with relevant experience to establish themselves in the fast-growing CDS of ABS and European ABS market. We are looking for a motivated candidate to help with the development of Markit’s European ABS Performance Data.

Duties and Accountabilities
 

  • Assist/lead a team of analysts in making sure that responsibilities are met and ensuring that the product meets high data quality levels.
  • Analysing collateral and bond performance of asset-backed securities.
  • Learning about European ABS Performance Data, data processes and workflow management tool.
  • Staying abreast of the development of asset-backed securities and CDS of ABS markets.
  • Enhancing and developing the analytical reach of the European Surveillance Product.
  • Acting as a client liaison for the data businesses in Europe. This involves working with clients to understand their needs to help ensure we are delivering and exceeding their expectations.
  • Understanding and assisting in the enhancement of all processes for gathering data and redistribution of data to client.


Business Competencies
 

  • some relevant ABS experience.
  • Self motivation with a strong desire to increase knowledge of European Surveillance products, asset-backed securities, CDS, fixed-income products, and financial markets. Experience in this context will be viewed upon favorably particularly for the Analyst role
  • Fluency in any Contintental European language would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of Excel/SQL/ACCESS would be preferable, but not essential. Note that the successful candidate will be expected to learn this NOTE: This is not an entry level role and would be ideal for someone with ABS experience looking to develop their career in an exciting and fast moving company.
  • All candidates must have a valid work permit/visa for permanent work in the UK.
