Established during the past decade, this hybrid hedge fund has positioned itself as one of the most respected investment teams in London. Their focus covers distressed debt investments, expansion capital, private equity, structured equity and event-driven liquid equity or debt positions.

The business has an investment potential per deal of anywhere up to €100m in long-term committed capital. Through established and strong relationships with many well known Limited Partners the firm also has involvement in co-investments for larger transactions.

The professionals within the firm have worked together for many years and carry with them exceptional track records in turnaround finance and event-driven transactions. They are well known for their approach and ability to execute complex transactions in Europe. Based out of the UK, a key asset to this firm is the Europe based decision-making.

With phenomenal ability to fund raise and allocate capital, the business is looking to grow aggressively. They are looking for at least one entrepreneurial and forward thinking individual to join. You will bring fresh ideas and a new dynamic to what is already a very successful firm.

Joining this firm as either an Associate or Principal the successful candidate will initally be expected to work on ongoing projects and will receive full attention from business Partners to gauge where you currently stand in terms of ability and technical know-how. You will take on a high level of responsibility and be pushed to source, generate and run with deals as soon as you are able. This market is currently growing far quicker than the capacity of firms to deal with it so rest assured the deal flow will be both substantial and highly interesting.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Previous investment experience in either private equity or a hedge fund
• Bulge bracket investment banking background with significant deal exposure
• First class academic/professional credentials from top universities/institutions
• 3-6 years of professional experience
• Confident, outgoing and highly energetic/enthusiastic
• Entrepreneurial in approach with proven ability to self-motivate in a highly competitive environment
• Exceptional technical skills combined with strong commercial awareness of the distressed debt field.
