This rapidly growing Brokerage is keen to develop its client services by adding to the strength of its small cap research team.

The Client:

Based in the heart of the City, this Small Cap brokerage has a very strong platform for growth and clear designs on gaining market share.

With a pedigree of senior personnel from global investment banks, the firm was founded with the aspiration of providing an outstanding level of client service to all of their clients. Strong Equity Research being of primary importance.

Due to an internal promotion, they now require 2 generalist Analysts to augment their research function and support the equity sales function. Specific sector expertise would be welcomed preferably in Natural Resources. However the ability to turn your hand to a broad range of industries would be useful as the firm continues to develop its corporate clients.

The Candidate:

• 2-3 years Research experience in UK small-cap stocks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with market data packages such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Factiva etc.
• Strong financial acumen inclusive of valuations and financial modelling experience.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage the output of others.
• Clear drive and a tenacious appetite for success.

There are clear opportunities for promotion and taking on even further responsibilities for the right individual.
