Fixed Income Analyst, Emerging Markets Debt

Position Description:

This individual will be primarily responsible for analyzing selected emerging markets with a particular emphasis on Asia and Africa. As an active member of the EMD strategy team, this individual will be fully integrated into the investment process and be expected to provide investment recommendations as well as help shape portfolio management decisions.


Qualifications:


At least five years of relevant working experience, in particular, in the investment analysis of emerging local debt and currency markets to include broad Asian and African sovereign debt

Previous experience working at a multilateral agency is a plus

Strong understanding of investment concepts, such as relative value

Demonstrated experience developing and implementing value added investment recommendations

Proven interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a small, collaborative team, while also communicating and interacting with a larger group of investment people

Ability and willingness to travel

A degree in international economics and/or international finance is highly desirable
