Private Equity Manager

The Challenge

The Private Equity team has responsibility for identifying, carrying out due diligence on and negotiating private equity investments in globally based funds. The role also involves monitoring the investments, reporting on investment performance and maintaining good relations with investment partners and their advisors. The team is also expected to influence strategic investment decision-making in relation to the overall allocation and approach to private equity investments.

The Candidate

• The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience at a senior level in a relevant Private Equity with a successful track record demonstrating sound investment judgement.
• An analytical approach with excellent financial analysis skills and a high level of mathematical ability.
• The potential to take a lead role in both sourcing and effecting Private Equity with a demonstrable ability to interact with potential general partners.
• Strong interpersonal skills with, in particular, the standing and ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of the client.
• A committed and diligent team player with a pro-active style and strong oral and written communication skills.
