Position Overview:

BlackRock currently has a Healthcare position open with primary coverage of healthcare services.

The Analyst will be part of the Global Opportunities Team focusing primarily on the Health Sciences Opportunities Fund and will make recommendations directly to the Portfolio Managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Cover stocks across healthcare services and other designated areas of healthcare
  • Conduct company research – including financial analysis, due diligence on industry trends, company managements and strategies

    • - Build and update financial and valuation models

    - Synthesize and assess financial, industry data

    - Conduct primary research through industry sources

  • Draft reports/notes on relevant investment themes, events, and breaking news
  • Attend industry conferences

    • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA / CFA preferred
  • 2-5 years healthcare investment experience
  • Outstanding analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate large amounts of information in succinct manner
  • Proven ability to create successful investment ideas
