Our client, a well established European banking group is urgently looking for a qualified auditor to join thier HK office.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan & execute audit programmes to ensure procedural compliance & to improve on risk control of our business processes.

  • Provide audit coverage mainly for the Asia regional businesses of cash equities, equity derivatives, equity capital markets and corporate finance.
  • Perform value added audits with the objectives for increasing operational efficiency & effective utilisation of resources.

  • Report on the findings of the audits & highlight areas for improvements along with the proposed recommendations.

  • Meet with the auditees to discuss the reports.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as required.

  • Maintain and enhance both professional and technical skills, and develop an understanding of the company operations.

  • To be recognised as being skilled and professional.

  • Ensure adherence to departmental policies, procedures and quality standards.

Requirements
  • A qualified accountant, ACCA or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years relevant post qualification audit experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of Internal Audit within a Bank or Big 4 Financial Audit experience.

  • Excellent report writing & communication skills & be able to work with people at all levels.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese, Mandarin is a definite advantage.

  • Proactive, assertive, detail-orientated & a team player.

  • Willingness to travel extensively.
